DID YOU KNOW

Did you know that hummingbirds can travel up to sixty miles per hour, the same speed of a hawk? This gives them the advantage of escaping most enemies, but beware, even though they are little they will not hesitate to tangle with larger birds if given the chance.

Color

Did you know that color is important to birds when they are selecting what to eat? White foods such as white bread, the inside of doughnuts and white suet are very attractive to birds. Birds who like the color black love thistle and black sunflower seeds. Most birds prefer red fruit and red berries. Check out the list below as to what birds like what foods.
