We just participated in the annual South Berwick Strawberry Festival in Maine where we saw many of our beloved repeat customers. We will post pictures weekly from them showing you their collection of our birdhouses. This week we are featuring Candy and her birdhouse collection.
Candy has been chosen by the Berwick Library to host a garden tour on July 13th. Good luck Candy, your yard and gardens are beautiful and we are sure many will enjoy the tour.

We were at the Strawberry Festival in Monroe CT last weekend. This is a great show, the strawberry shortcake is absolutely delicious. As always, we get to see many of our repeat customers and listen to their stories about chickadees, wrens, and many other songbirds raising families in the birdhouses they purchased from us.

If you haven't already, now is the time to make sure your birdhouses are ready for the season. Check and repair any birdhouses that may have been damaged over the winter. It is a good idea to replace any that may be beyond repair

Have you ever thought of offering natural food sources to the birds that frequent your yard? Planing purple coneflowers will attract the American Goldfinch. Planting sunflowers will attract Chickadees. Leave out left over peanuts and watch the blue jays gobble them up.
Not only is this something birds can enjoy, but you do not have to spend a lot of money to offer something so natural and delicious.
